VISION & MISSION

IHRPC Vision Statement

IHRPC vision and principles are guided by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Convention on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, which we regard as sources of inspiration in our vision to respect, protect, and fulfill human rights, and to promote a human rights-based framework for development.

Our belief and standards are aligned with the universal guidelines in accordance to the 30 basic Human Rights as outlined in the articles in the Universal declaration of Human Rights.

IHRPC fundamentals and foundation is based upon a global and universal understanding of a great mandate in the Bible in the book of Matthew 26:36-40 regardless of differential religions and doctrines for every religion and faith has this ultimate goal according to these verses

36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ 37 Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? 38 And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? 39 And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40 And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’

As a humanitarian organization we do not promote religion or politics though we are respectful to the different religious and political views of each individual. In our unity as human beings we understand that humanity is not a religion but a relationship with one another to try and make this world a better place to live in through love and peace not war and hate.

IHRPC envisions a world of Peace for all humanity by promoting a message of love that all men and women are created equal to have the respect and dignity to live free from tyranny and slavery, to be able to have the basic right to food, water, housing, clothing and the dignity to have freedom of faith and religion.

IHRPC ultimate vision is to empower all humanity by strengthening the mindset of every man, woman, and child through the access of adequate education and a foundation of higher learning.

IHRPC Mission Statement

Restore honor and Dignity in every individual

Article 10(1) of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights declares that '[a]ll persons deprived of their liberty shall be treated with humanity and with respect for the inherent dignity of the human person'. Dignity is also invoked in several of the specialised United Nations treaties.

Help and care of our Widows, Orphans, Poor & Stranger

(1) Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age. Together we must promote gender equality to erase the challenges faced by widows. For as long as daughters face discrimination and are devalued – especially in the context of poor families with limited choices – simply outlawing harmful practices against widows will not solve the problem. Practices and behaviors will only change when girls’ and women’s rights are respected and upheld. Article 24 The child has the right to the highest attainable standard of health care, with emphasis on primary health care, the development of preventive health care.

Providing resources for employment & education

Article 26 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that everyone has a right to education and that "Education shall be directed to the full development of the human personality and to the strengthening of respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms. Right to Education: The Constitution (Eighty-sixth Amendment) Act, 2002 inserted Article 21-A in the Constitution of India to provide free and compulsory education of all children in the age group of six to fourteen years as a Fundamental Right in such a manner as the State may, by law, determine. Definition. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights states in Article 23.1: (1) Everyone has the right to work, to free choice of employment, to just and favourable conditions of work and to protection against unemployment. Everyone shall choose his employment freely. Everyone shall have access under equal conditions to any position of employment. Forced labour shall be prohibited. Article 66 The state shall create opportunities for employment and work, and shall ensure the protection of both by law.

To Empower, Encourage and Educate our youth

Empowered people are confident in their strengths and use them to step up to challenges. But they also are not afraid of their weaknesses and recognize in them the opportunity to learn and improve. The empowered person recognizes that while not everything may go the way they want it to, they can choose how they respond to any situation or circumstance. They, therefore, choose to look at the ups and downs of the journey with joy. Take action when you see discrimination: A person's rights are disrespected every time they face discrimination. You can promote human rights in your daily life by doing something when you witness things like racism or sexism. Taking action can mean different things depending on the situation.

To abide by the Golden Rule, Treat other as you want to be Treated through Love, Truth & Peace

The Golden Rule, which encourages treating others as you would like to be treated, is a fundamental principle of love, truth, and peace. By practicing empathy, honesty, and non-violence in our interactions, we can foster a harmonious and understanding society where everyone's well-being is considered and respected.

To promote and advocate Human Rights and Fundamental Freedom for all without any discrimination of race, religion, caste, color, sex and language

To effectively promote and advocate for human rights and fundamental freedoms for all, we must actively work towards eliminating discrimination based on race, religion, caste, color, sex, and language. This involves fostering a culture of understanding, respect, and inclusion, ensuring equal opportunities and rights for every individual, and addressing any injustices or prejudices that may arise. By doing so, we can create a more equitable and harmonious society where everyone's inherent dignity and worth are recognized and protected. Human rights is a cross-cutting theme in all UN policies and programmes in the key areas of peace and security, development, humanitarian assistance, and economic and social affairs. As a result, virtually every UN body and specialized agency is involved to some degree in the protection of human rights. Some examples are the right to development, which is at the core of the Sustainable Development Goals; the right to food, championed by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization, labour rights, defined and protected by the International Labour Organization, gender equality, which is promulgated by UN Women, the rights of children, indigenous peoples, and disabled persons.
