AMBASSADOR PROF CHIDIEBERE ANELECHI OGBU is the President and Founder of the African Diaspora Union universally called AFRIDU. A Pan African institution to fights and protects the rights of the African Descendants sold during the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade. The African Descendants recognized by the African Union (AU) and the United Nations as the Africans in Diaspora 6th Region, is believed by the African Diaspora Union –AFRIDU under reparation and reparative justice that no amount of compensation is worth the humiliation, human degradation, abuse and denial than restoration of their human rights and rights of citizenship stolen from them.
Amb Prof. Chidiebere Anelechi Ogbu was born on the 19th of May 1964 and hails from Ezinihitte Mbaise Imo State, and was raised in Aba, Abia State where he attended his primary school at Ndoki Road Primary School and later went to secondary schools at Okpala Secondary School Ngor Okpala; Obizi High School Obizi Mbaise; and Naze Secondary School Owerri between 1976 and 1982.
He studied Mass Communication at Our Saviour Institute of Science, Agriculture and Technology (OSISATECH) Emene Enugu in 1991/1992, and later in 1999 studied Law under the Department of Continuous Education at the present Cross River State University of Technology (Polytechnic Calabar) Nigeria.
In 2008 while in South Africa, he continued studying Law with University of South Africa (UNISA) which he discontinued in 2010 as a result of much engagements.
Amb Prof. Ogbu became the First National Vice President of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria in South Africa 2015-2016; Head of Bloc of the Evangelical Christians and Reformed Churches in South Africa 2016; and Director for Planning, Research and Strategy of the Christian Association of Nigeria South Africa (CANSAF), and later in 2023 became the National Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria South Africa (CANSAF). In 2018 he founded a cultural organization in a genealogy research which took them few times to Israel and he became the President of Igbo-Hebrew Cultural Heritage Organization.
In 2019 the Impact Africa Education Foundation bid to implement the organization dream in education and dissemination of information, Impact Africa Television and Radio Network was born. Later that year, Impact Africa Technical University was also born under his auspices and Leadership.
In 2020, he became an Associate Professor and Faculty Chair of Chaplaincy at the International Kingdom University Fort Lauderdale Florida USA and has produced experienced Chaplain Students, and later the same year bagged a “Doctorate in Human Rights” by the Institute of Regenerative Truth and School of Prophets Israel.
He has worn many distinguished and global human rights and peace awards which includes the “Voice of Humanity Awards”; the “Heroes of Faith Awards”, and “The Distinguished BEN AMIN New Jerusalem Broken Spear PEACE SYMBOL AWARD”; and has authored books that include “the origin of Human Rights”; “The African Twelve Apostles”, and also written and acted human rights
